Sami people and Vardo

Tonight we are in Vardo,  we came under the ocean in a tunnel to get here it is not light out so I can not see for sure but we drove far enough down, under the water that our ears popped.

We went to a Sami museum today and heard many great songs from the Sami people and saw many great artifacts.

So today I had 2 amazing things to eat... Soft waffles with jam and whip cream in the middle and we actually had cod for dinner..... I haven't had cod since I was a teenager and it was good. The fantastic news is the Norwegian cod fishing was much like ours...depleted, and had come back....there is hope. Tomorrow we drive over a mountain pass in a convoy because there is supposed to be bad weather, wish me luck! ( oh they do have studded tires here they call them spiked)
