way outside my comfort zone!
So I have missed a few days, I will fill you in later…. As I may have mentioned I am on a geotour with The North West Highlands Geo park. Pete Harrison is our guide, he gives the best explanations and is the most patient man ever. ( I have not caught and eye roll yet when I ask a question! 😁) So today we looked at Loch Broom , how it was formed , some of the delta along it and the rocks that surround it. We visited the Corrieshalloch Gorge to explore the water’s path.
So not only am the only artist on this tour, all of the people are intense geology enthusiasts who are very knowledgeable, today I crossed a suspension bridge without holding on to someone and without breaking out into a cold sweat. I also stood on metal grated platform overlooking the gorge 60 m bellow. A bit scary but oh so fantastic. I was also so nervous and excited I forgot to take a photo of the bridge and of the warning sign that says 6 people only at a time.
